Here’s some encouraging news during this recession – sales of high-end, exotic cars are up.
An article I read explains that the “top six exotic luxury brands have grown 16 percent in the first seven months of 2010, compared with the same period last year,” accounting for 3,065 exotics sold by Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bentley, Maserati, Maybach and Rolls-Royce through July versus the 2,650 sold in 2009.
This is great news for the economy and for the exotic community. There’s nothing like listening to the Ferrari V8 on the road as you’re driving in triple digits!

The Ferrari Owners Club San Diego Region is holding their 10th Annual Bella Italia Car Show on April 10, 2010 at Spanish Landing Park on beautiful San Diego Bay. This has become one of the greatest Italian exotic car shows in Southern California. In addition to Ferrari, the Ferrari Owners Club of San Diego are proud to share out event again with Lamborghini, Maserati, and a few special racing legends.
Proceeds from the event benefit our local charities, and this year they are teaming up with the Wounded Warrior Foundation and we plan to have some of these incredible patriots with us at the show. You definitely don't want to miss the chance of meeting these brave warriors who have paid a high price to protect our freedom.

KWIKFILMS is always looking for that next stand out product, and when we got our hands on the
Sticky Pod Pro Racer Kit we knew our videos wouldn't be the same. The
Sticky Pod was developed to be mounted on virtually any vehicle, inside and out, with
4 heavy duty suction cups, attached to an military grade aluminum plate with a countless number of extensions and knuckles that can be added. Our kit included the
Sticky Pod and a six inch extension, safety tethers, and a quick release Bogen camera plate.
Using the
Sticky Pod was straightforward and easy. Positioning the camera on our test vehicle opened new camera angles and positions. The suction cups held up very well on the
Lamborghini Gallardo test car. With over 500 horsepower and all-wheel drive, this monstrous bull ripped from a standstill to over 60 mph in just a few seconds. After seeing all the equipment still in place, I was impressed.
The
Bogen camera plate was great, providing more stability for our
Panasonic HMC-40. They provide tethers are a must for safety and added stability for your shots. KWIKFILMS recommends buying an extra knuckle, and more extensions to really explore more creative shots.
