LeftlaneNews spy photographers have snapped a few photos of a Lexus LFA prototype. Since the
Lexus LFA has been out for a while it's interesting that Lexus might be working on something new. The
Lexus LFA prototype camouflage depicts fake panels especially in the front fender near the A-pillar. Normally when we see a piece of camouflage like this, it's often hiding a port of some kind. GM’s plug-in hybrid test mules have been spotted with a similar camo patch. Since
Toyota/
Lexus have been pioneers in hybrid technology it would be nice to have a hybrid sports car on the market.
And we thought that the
Lexus LFA couldn't get any better. Lexus is rumored to be releasing a
Nürburgring Track Edition special edition of it's
Lexus LFA super car. Obviously, named after the legendary race track in Germany where the Lexus LFA prototypes were tested which eventually led to the production LFA.
The
Lexus LFA Nürburgring Track Edition appears to be a more track-focused version of the standard LFA. The Track Edition sports a larger front spoiler, fixed rear, a stiffer adjustable suspension, lightweight alloys coated in track rubber and an additional 10 horsepower. This special edition will be offered in only four colors, including black, matte black, vibrant orange, and a mystery color.
More details will surface when Lexus makes an official announcement.
