It's been
7 years since the
Dodge Viper received a total body redesign.
Dodge has announced that it's winding down its latest generation with the Viper Final Edition. Only 50 units of the Final Edition model will be available. The Final Edition units will be spread among all models, Coupe (20), Roadster (18) and ACR (12) trim levels. All
Final Edition Viper models will feature a Graphite Clear Coat body with a black center stripe outlined in red. Coupe and ACR models will feature a black windshield surround.
The
Final Edition models will feature a black interior with red accents. Each vehicle will also include a numbered dash plaque and Final Edition floor mats are also part of the package.
On November 4, 2009, Dodge Car Brand President and CEO, Ralph Gilles, announced that the Viper would end production in the summer of 2010. A new car will arrive in 2012 to replace the current Viper, but it is unknown whether the new car will have the Viper name.
